Schedule Ext Operation-Duration Field not available in Std Network

Dear PS Experts

is there a way to define 'Normal duration" for PS02-external processing & PS04-Service in standard network. We have activated "Schedule ext opn' for these control key, but cannot find place to define 'Normal duration' field in Std network. We plan to use Duration over planned delivery time for ext processing & service activities

In Operative network, it is possible to define 'Normal Duration' which means , you have to maintain manually after creating project & run network scheduling.

This might be too much work for user to maintain & remember duration as well.

Hi,

You have already maintained 'Sched. ext.op.' indicator in customizing.

You can enter duration for external activity in standard network also.

While creating standard activity, double click the activity line and go to 'Work' tab; there you will see the same control key that you have defined fro external activity and there only you have to enter the duration for the activity.
