sap system missing in MMC

Hi there,

One of the SAP Systems in MMC is missing. I checked windows services, it is running there. I also tried to add it in MMC by giving the names manually but it says that the 'class not found' error.

Can you please guide me that how to restore sap system in MMC. It will really appreciate that. Thanks.

go to <drive>:usr\sap\sid\sys\exe\run or corresponding directory

execute sapstartsrv.exe and give corresponding inputs

see that sapsid_<nr> is running

Hello,

Here is some information for you.

"Class not registered" (0x80040154): The snap-in derives the class ID from the SAP system number. Use the Properties context menu for the instance node to verify that the snap-in uses the correct system number for the SAP instance. Also make sure that the service is correctly installed on the SAP instance. You can reinstall the service by starting sapstartsrv.exefrom the executables directory of the SAP instance. Refer SAP note # 142100.
