Deletion flag in SUS

Dear SAP experts,

We are in SRM 7.01 with backend ECC 6.05 and deploying classic scenario. We are also using SUS for vendor registration and doing PO confirmation and as we are in classic scenario we are using MM-SUS. In the first time as we know we need to transfer the vendor from ECC to SUS by using tcode BD14 (after classifying the vendors first). And there is supposedly report RBDMIDOC to synchronize every change happening in ECC to SUS.

However as per note 1027493, it is recommended to use BD14 instead of RBDMIDOC, as RBDMIDOC have problem generating segment LFM1M which is needed by SUS. But then we find out that the XML generated by BD14 not contain deletion flag. So if the vendor in ECC is being deleted, this information is not passed to SUS.

Can someone share some thought on this?

Best regards,

John

Hi John,

yes, this is the case, the deletio flags set in MM will not be synchronized to SUS. A purchaser administrator will need to handle this in SUS manually. For example he can lock all of the contact person users of the supplier, which would prevent any furhter action from this supplier. To delete the supplier BP in SUS would require that all of the open documents are closed and archived, this is also a manual administration task.
