Hi,

Could someone tell me why the Driver for BW - JCO is not available for connection to the ITD? I'm using version BO 40 SP1.

Please see how it should be in the annexed IDT.JPG and how is the figure IDT1.jpg

Hi,

The JCO connector can be used only with relational connections. So this option is only available when you choose “Insert Relational Connection”. The JCO connector will be automatically installed when you install SAP BI4. Please contact your system-administrator if the drivers are installed.

Hi,

You really should NOT be using 4.0 SP01 - this is effectively an beta version! The product went General Availability with SP02 Patch2.5.

As of today, SP04 maintenance is nearly finished (the forthcoming Patch 4.15 is the final correction)

Most customers will be on SP05 (up to Patch 5.8 available), and now SP06 is available.

Your implementation is at risk, and at a huge disadvantage until you upgrade to the level suggested above!
