Hi ALL
We are using SAP Business Objects 4.0 SP5 patch 3 and OS suse Linux 11.
Now we have a requirement to connect to the SAS . Could any one help us how to confiure SAS JDBC drivers on Linux server
inorder to connect to SAS.
When we are connecting to SAS through IDT we are getting the below error .
Error in IDT :
com.sap.connectivity.cs.java.drivers.DBDError:[Data Federator Driver] [Server][Connector
'testSource Connection
could not find driver class 'com.sas.net.sharenet.ShareNetDriver' using location
Thanks in advance
Hi,
Looking at the BI4.1 Supportability Pages (PAM), a SAS connector is only available as a "multi source enabled" federated source (i.e. using data federator APS on the BIPlatform for data access)
Only SAS source version 9.1.3 is listed.
You need to follow the data access help guide for the step-by-step. http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexir4/en/xi4sp5_data_acs_en.pdf
infact, I answered a similar question here: http://scn.sap.com/thread/3308049 - see excerpt below (to get you started)
- For the Multi source universe, the jars had to be put in this folder:
