Dear Support,
I am upgrading BI server from NW 7.0 EHP2 to NW 7.3 EHP1 SP6 in windows 2008 R2 & MS SQL 2008. While upgrading, it is giving following error in 'MAIN_SHDIMP/SUBMOD_SHD2_RUN/SETUPGPAR_SGENPROCS!' stage of PRE-PROCESSING process :-
Severe error(s) occured in phase MAIN_SHDIMP/SUBMOD_SHD2_RUN/SETUPGPAR_SGENPROCS!
Last error code set: RFC error system BID nr 01 function 'SUBST_HANDLE_UVERS' failed with code 3 key TYPELOAD_NEW_VERSION: A newer version of data type DD12V was found than one required
I am using kernel 720 EXT 402 (64 bit), which is available both under local and shadow instance directory. I also have set 'rdisp/bufrefmode=sendon,exeauto' parameter in shadow instance profile. My shadow instance is already started and I can login into 000 client with DDIC ID, but there also under some T-Codes , it is giving following dump:-
A newer version of data type "DD12V" was found than one required
The data type "DD12V" was loaded from the database during the program run.
However, a type of a newer version than the one requried was found here.
Please suggest how to proceed further .
Regards,
Nilutpal.

Hi,
Please goto SE38 and run report TOUCHTAB for table DD12V, it should fix
this incosistent state for this table. Afterwards some programs should
recompile, don't worry, this is normal. The upgrade should then be able to move
on.
Regards,
Aidan

Hi Aidan,
Thanks for your solution . That issue has disappeared, but I found that in UVERS table, no entry is available now and may be because of which following error is coming now:-
Severe error(s) occured in phase MAIN_SHDIMP/SUBMOD_SHD2_RUN/SETUPGPAR_SGENPROCS!
Last error code set: Internal error: 'SAP_BASIS' not found in UVERS
Please suggest how to proceed now?
With Warm Regards,
Nilutpal.
