Where to get credential file (Adobe) for developer workplace?

I just installed Developer workplace. The installation guide gives a link for getting credential and password and I see that the link is not working. Here it is

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/business_packages/a1-8-4/a...

So where do I get this?

Hi Narayana,

<a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/softwaredownload?download=/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/business_packages/a1-8-4/adobe_credential_sneakpreview_nw04.zip">the link</a> seems to be down at the moment, check later on as SDN will probably upload a new credential file.

Cheers,

Francois

Thanks for the reply. I see note 736902 about sending a message to SAP for credential file. Is this the way I need to get credential file even for developer workplace?

Hello,

First option is to use a temporary credential from SDN (the one mentioned above), otherwise you can reference your ADS server (wich can be shared for various dev workplaces) in your local J2EE engine.

Can you please tell me how to reference ADS server in local J2EE engine? In my case, I have developer work place installed on my laptop alone. So J2EE engine, ADS and everything is running on my laptop alone. So what exactly do you mean by referencing ADS server?

I observed that the SDN link has been updated. So the issue doesnt exist anymore.
