ECC Query With HANA

Hi,

We have reports in ecc system, Now we are migrating to Hana Database. Can anyone please help if we can replicate teh report query directly in to hana views? or we have to rebuild the query while creating report in Sap BO

If we can do. can u please tell me the ways.

Hi

There is no automatic mechanism to replicate your existing queries into HANA.

However you can re-model your queries (if possible) into HANA views. What you are doing is pushing the query load as much as possible into the HANA DB for processing. As such your BI processing would be able to execute faster during querying to the HANA DB.

Hi Sheetal,

It's not possible to replicate technical reports queries directly into Hana Views.

Only way is to replicate the ECC tables into HANA database using SLT(SAP Landscape Transformation Replication)

Once replication is done, create the views on top of tables and then build the query and create the reports using BO tools.
