We currently have a SUP 2.1.3 #1 app deployed and being actively used by a few hundred users.
We need to make a few changes and add some new MBOs (SAP backend).
We need to deploy in "UPDATE" mode because we don't want to lose the data already consolidated in the CDB.
We are having problems when trying to add a sync parameter to a new MBO. If we deploy the new MBO (in a new SyncGroup), without SynchronizationParameters, the deployment if completed correctly.
We need a sync param in the MBO to filter the data downloaded to the clients. However, if we add a sync parameter to the MBO (mapped to a personalization parameter (new or previously existing)), the deployment fails with the message: "can not add sync parameter to entity "MyNewMBO".
The docs just say that "you may encounter failures in old clients after an update deployment" (that can be solved uninstalling / installing a new app), but nothing about the issue we are facing.
Any info on this?
