idm 7.2 create a user identity store show error message

Using the identity store provisioning an abap back end user, it gives the error message:

Running pass failed with unhandled exception - {err_classname=ToSAP, err_category=ERROR, err_passname=CreateABAPUser, err_where=runToPass, err_exception=java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.String.equals(java.lang

Arivind,

There could be a number of reasons for this, but first some questions:

Does this happen for one user or all users?

What system are you provisioning to?

Are you also assigning a role?

Is the system JAVA or ABAP?

Can you connect to the system by other means?

Are the IDM repository parameters correct

Is this happening from a workflow task or a job (e.g., initial load?)

I'm sure I can think of others, but this will start us off!
