Im getting database error reading table TUMRES and USMM job terminated with message

Hi All,

I have one issue on ECC PRD and DEV when I take the system measurement job (USMM). it terminated with one warnning

0900 mySAP Engineering & Construction.

When I try to export to LAW file Im getting database error reading table TUMRES.

I DID the following:

- I already run System measurement many times always with the same warning.

- I already verify the table TUMRES and its empty.

My last question about to USMM, SOLMAN what system type should I chose to SOLMAN ( PRD, TEST, Training or DEV ).

Hi Juan,

This error message  "Database error reading table TUMRES" would occur usually  when any background jobs get terminated while performing measurement using transaction USMM.

I recommend you implement note 1723097 and try to measure again.

Thank you for your fast reponse, I have implemented the note 1723097 but I just have the same problem.

I already run the measurement job and it came back to failed

what about the system type of solman ??

Do you have other idea ??..

Hi Juan,

I do not understand the question about the system types.

For the error, have you made sure there is no background jobs terminated?

Hi Hugo,

We have applied Note 1674661 - USMM: Application 900 (ETM) measurement result in short dump.

The issue was solved.

About my last question...I want to know that system type (Menu - system data) should I chose to take of system measurement by SOLMAN. I read some notes and I choose PRD by SOLMAN.

Which RDBMS your using ? and what is the version of it ?

If its oracle 11gR2 because of deferred segment creation . While exporting empty tables.
