Maintenance order budget consumption for two operations

Dear all,

For my client a maintenance order has been created with two operations  a). material is required with cost of 1000 b) and  external service cost of 500. ( Total plan cost is 1500 )

At the time of order release system is consuming budget of  500 only  i.e.. related to service cost only,  why it is not consuming material related cost..

Please clarify.

In addition to above query, my material budget is getting consumed at the time of goods issue against the PM order..not at the time of PM order release....

Is this process is fine..

The budget is consumed during goods/service issue, if it's set in this way in your update profile.
