Solman:730 diagnostics agent

Hi Team,

we have installed 730 diagnostics agent .

When running smdsetup script file to connect to solman system getting the below error:

/usr/lib/hpux64/dld.so: Unable to find library 'libjli.so'.
./smdsetup.sh[28]: 26044 Killed

Request your help on this.

Hi Vasu,

Recently had similar issue please check your filesystem ownership and permissions for your kernel directory as well as your related smd agent and java directories.

libjli.so is java library. Check if it exists in sapjvm_6/jre/lib/<platform>/jli directory of your smd agent.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

jli directory was missing from the jvm directory , now we have copied this and again ran the script.

This error has disappeared now , but we are facing with different error with the script

"there was an error trying to initialize the hpi library. could not create the java virtual machine"

Request your  help to resolve this.

Just want to share the I have managed to run it. And yes the order matters. Below are the changes I made in my LD_LIBRARY_PATH

/usr/local/j2sdk1.4.1_02/jre/lib/sparc/client:

/usr/local/j2sdk1.4.1_02/jre/lib/sparc/server:

/usr/j2se/jre/lib/sparc/native_threads:

/usr/local/j2sdk1.4.1_02/jre/lib/sparc
