Channel Availability Planning is working as per server timezone!

Hi Experts,

I have been working on Channel Availability Planning.

It was noticed that it is working at server timings..Is there any way to customise it to user timezone so as to accomodate the inconsistencies due to day light saving changes!

Is there any SAP note for this?

Please advise.

Hi Sushma,

AP is generally on System time zone only.

We do have an option to set the schedule in a different time zone.

I am currently on PI 7.11.

Only option to apply a patch if your system does not show such an option.

Hi,

I found a SAP Note: Note 1795743 - Issues with start and end date/time for channel schedules

Does this note provides the flexibility to define user timezones as per channel availability planning?

Any idea?

The server is in timezone X and the users are in timezone Y. We want to maintain the availability planning based on user timezone.

Please suggest.

Hi Sushama,

You missed responding to my note above. Does your system show an option to set AP in a different time zone ? If not, then the only option is to apply a patch. You can apply as per the note you found. this should work. check with the basis team as well.
