Hi Sandeep,

You must regenerate the same integration model and control active material flow by marking P or ND in MRP type of material master for phased out materials. You must not create another new integration model which does not include the phased out material in selection criteria, you will appreciate that the latter method would be tedious.

In addition to what satish said, pls delete the material from APO. You can do this by applying a deletion flag to phased out materials in material master/massd and then running the report /sapapo/delete_products. refer this link for more details..http://scn.sap.com/thread/975178

No.

As mentioned in above posts

a. change mrp type to pd/nd in ecc for phased out material.

b. Regenerate the same integration model.

Hello Sandeep,

You should generate and activate a new integration model that no longer includes the "phased-out" material.  Most customers would have the generate-activate activity for IMs on a regular basis so that when the material is no longer to be included (determined by filter object like MRP type or

PlantSpec. Mtl Stat, MRP Ctrlr)  is removed automatically.

Note that the product is not removed from APO.  You can go through the painful process to delete the product or change two settings in the product master.

1.  Set the procurement type to 'P' for planned by external system.

2.  Set the SDP Relevance indicator so that the product is not considered by DP or SNP.

Thanks,

Satish

Hi Sandeep

First reply is no need to activate the new  integration model for withdrawn products.

Please follow below mentioned steps to make the material phaseout and also this process make phaseout item in-active integration model.

1.Change  the MRP type to ND and if required keep seperate MRP controller for phaseout products.

This will remove the material from regular material integration model.

Since your integration model fileter MRP type is X0 in active integration model. This item will not be picked in next CIF job run. This makes phaseout item into in active item.

2.Set Plant specific status to 04 in MRP 1 view in material master.

3.Put the deletion flag at material master level.
