Hello All,

We are getting the following error when launching our ESR.

javax.ejb.EJBException: ASJ.ejb.005043 (Failed in component: sap.com/com.sap.xi.repository, BC-XI-IBD) Exception raised from invocation of public java.lang.String com.sap.aii.ib.server.login.LoginServiceBean.login(com.sap.aii.utilxi.core.strings.Language) throws com.sap.aii.ib.core.login.LoginServiceException,com.sap.aii.ib.core.login.UserAuthenticationException method on bean instance

Any ideas on what might be causing it ?

Thanks,

Kiran

Thanks Dimitri, Aaron & Peter for your inputs.  This error was happening in our development environment.

This is not a new install.

We have been live with PI 7.3 for over a year now.

Our basis team did further investigation and it seems that the table BC_MSG_AUDIT has high growth which was caused by some comm. channels esp. file adapter ones with a very short pool interval which were erroring out.

Additional disc space has been aded and we are disabling the comm. channels (Or increase the pool interval)

This should prevent the issue from happening further.

Thanks,

Kiran

Thanks Dimitri, Aaron & Peter for your inputs. We went through a series of iterations while debugging the issue and finally identified that the issue was with BC_MSG_AUDIT table having high growth. The note 1826164 proved helpful to us. We also looked up logs in NWA to identify the error messages.

Thanks,

Kiran

My guess is wrong java version (too new !!!). Most of the time that is the issue.

Hi Kiran, is this a new install? New account? New PC? New Java upgrade?

Did you execute all post-installation steps successfully?
