Dear Experts,
I have a question related to assigning user to business process owner.
We are performing a Sub-process Design Assessment with review activated. So as per design when the assessment is submitted it is submitted to the sub-process owner for performing the assessment.
Post completion of the assessment by the sub-process owner it should be reviewed by the process owner. However, we cannot find as how to assign a user as process owner (in a similar way to sub-process owner)
Please advice as how can I assign a business process owner.
Thank you,
Sahil.
Hi Sahil,
The workflow does not directly move to the process owner.
It depends on the configurtaion setting that you have maintained
in the backend system that lets it to the responsible person.
The configuration setting needs to mainatined
spro -> Governance, Risk and Compliance -> General Settings ->
Workflow -> Maintain Custom Agent Determination Rules.
There maintain the role for business event "0PC_VALI_ASSESSMENT"
ie Review assessment . As you are doing for subprocess design
assessment, maintain the setting for subentity PD .
Now assign user to this role.
You have to replan the assessment after making the changes.
Hope it helps.

Silky Sharma

I presume you are trying to assign a "Owner" to a business process for GRC AC workflow related matters, namely Access Request. If not, then apologies for my small box thinking.
I would suggest you create a custom Agent Rule in BRF+ which is looking at the Business Process of a role/request and navigates the request to the named "User", who would affectively act as the Owner based on the Business Process.
