Execution Factor in SAP PS

Hi all,

My client is using Assembly process where we are creating sales order by giving Standard network and WBS element. But when ever the quantity is more than 999 system will show the below message

The Execution factor in the network has been reduce from 1000 to 1

now what to do ..

as per earlier post we can't change it to 4 digit but please help me in this.

I have raised OSS to SAP and i got reply from SAP.

" I'm afraid the system is working as designed in this case. The order

item quantity is updated in the execution factor of the network

header.

However, due to techinical reasons this execution factor is limited

to three characters. Therefore, the largest amount is 999.

You can check this in CN22, in the 'Control' tab.

Achieving a different behaviour would require a modification or

consulting workaround but can't be supported by SAP standard support.

i Think it is not possible to change it setting.

if any answer you will find please let me know.

i would suggest you to raise a OSS to SAP, as of i know this is a standard bug. So for time being you can split the 1000 qty into SO line items as 600+400 for the same material
