Shopping cart Error: No data found for employee.

Hello,

I have a question, which I suppose many of you have faced.  What is the correct way of moving people around the SRM organization structure.  We tend to have people moving around departments by simply dragging and dropping the user in the correct node on the structure.  In most cases it works OK.  In some cases, we get the error 'No data found for employee xxxxxxx; inform system administration'.  What we tend to do when this happens is completely remove the user from the organization structure, and run the USERS_GEN program again for that user.  This resolves the problem.  I have a feeling their is a more reliable way of moving users without encountering this error.  Look forward to your responses.

Hello,

Do you want to move just the user (Central Person) or the position?

If you want to move the position, please use PO13.

1. Click on Search Term. Enter the position id. Open the Position

2. Select Relationships. Click Edit (pencil icon)

3. Choose Relationship type A003. Choose Type of "Organizational Unit"

4. Enter the new Org unit number (without O)

5. Save.
