BBPCRM Add-On on SAP SRM 7.0

Former Member

Hello All,

I have a unique request from functional team asking for installation of Add-On BBPCRM on SAP SRM 7.0 system.

They are having issue same as mentioned in "SAP Note 554319 - EBP 3.5: Attribute company code is checked incorrectly"

My Current SAP SRM 7.0 is at below level

ComponentReleaseSP-LevelSupport Package
SAP_BASIS70213SAPKB70213
SAP_ABA70213SAPKA70213
PI_BASIS70213SAPK-70213INPIBASIS

SRM_EXPL7014SAPK-70104INSRMEXPL
SRM_EXT70110SAPK-70110INSRMEXT
ST-A/PI01Q_7001SAPKITAB7K

I recently installed ST-A/PI and WEBCUIF add-on's.

As per the SAP Note 554319, our functional team wants us to install BBPCRM add-on.

My questions are

01. How do we install BBPCRM add-on, as the option "Support Package manager for EBP/CRM" is disabled in SAINT t-code.

02. What are the implications of installing BBPCRM add-on on SAP SRM 7.0 system.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Ananda Swaroop G K

Hello Ananda,

Have you load the file on the saint transaction? In the menu bar, Installation Package -> Load Package -> From front end. Try this from client 000 and check if the add-on is available from the SAINT transaction once you did the first step.

Best regards.

Hello Miguel,

I have uploaded the following components via " SAINT -> Load from Application Server " (After uncaring the *.SAR files).

K-701DHINBBPCRM.SAR

KU70101.SAR

KU70102.SAR

KU70103.SAR

KU70104.SAR

KU70105.SAR

KU70106.SAR

KU70107.SAR

KU70108.SAR

KU70109.SAR

KU70110.SAR

I am able to view the patches in SPAM t-code. But unable to see the BBPCRM add-on in SAINT t-code.

Thanks & Best Regards,

And in tcode SPAM if you define a queue can you access the option?

Hello Johan,

When, I try to define the queue, then a pop up " OCS package SAPKU70101 does not match the current software component vector " appears.

If, I say ok, then, it show me that " Component BBPCRM, 701 has to be installed " .

Which, I can't see it in SAINT t-code.

Hi,

You need to download extract and install first.

BBPCRM====701   Attribute Change Package 03 for BBPCRM 701

Hello Ananda,

As I see in the Support Portal/Software Downloads the prerequisites for the file K-701DHINBBPCRM.SAR are:

Main Components:

BBPCRM  700

SAP_ABA  702

SAP_BASIS  702

I think K-701DHINBBPCRM.SAR is not the add-on installation, it should be another file that needs to be installed before.

Best regards.

Hi Ananda,

For more information consult note

837413 - Support Package levels for CRM installations/upgrades

Also this is correct place to view installation instructions.

SAP Service Marketplace ->Release and upgrade Info->Installation and Upgrade Guides ->

SAP Business Suite Applications->SAP CRM->SAP CRM 7.0-> Upgrade -> Then depening on your release of OS and DB choose the correct installation guide

Otherwise this thread will go indefinitely.

Regards,.

Johan

Hi Ananda,

I checked the installation guide 'SAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP CRM 7.0 Based on SAP NetWeaver 7.0 including Enhancement Package 2'. On step 3 'Installation' you can find the following information:

Proceed as described in the documentation Installation Guide – SAP Systems Based on the Application Server <ABAP | Java> of SAP NetWeaver on <Operating System>: <Database> at http://service.sap.com/sltoolset Software Logistics Toolset 1.0Software Provisioning Manager 1.0

Could you please check it?

Best regards.

Hi Ananda,

In transaction SPAM -> Environment (Drop down menu) -> Support package manager for EBP/CRM

Follow the steps there also good to make sure beforehand that CRM people stop their applications and queues.
