Hi Jittu,

Are you doing graphical mapping for this ?

If yes, try and remove mapping for Content_Disposition and Content. Populate the Subject field apart from other relevant fields.

Hope it helps!

Hi Mishra,

Even I have same issue.

I am not doing Message Mapping, but direct file trasfer to the File receiver.

At same time i want send notification to one email ID by saying that the File has been sent to Target.

In this case, I configured one more receiver CC with Mail Adapter Receiver and trying to send only Subject.

But automatically i am getting attachemt to tis email ID which is used in Mail Receiver Adapter.

I do not want this data in as an attachemt, but just SUBJECT is enough.

Please look into tihs link for more my business requirement.

Hi Jittu,

Unfortunately, at the moment I cannot figure out the non-message mapping way to strip off the payload other than not checking Keep Attachments option in mail adapter.

Answering specifically to your requirement (Kancham's might be different)---:

Can you try with message mapping and do as I suggested. you would need the mail package XSD as an external definition, with Messages "From all available global elements".

That should work. You can get the file name from dynamic configuration and include it in the subject of the email.

This is how I would do it since it gives me flexibility to include the file name in the subject. Performance will not be an issue here.

If it doesn't work, happy to help further.

Hope it helps!
