HANA Modelling in ERP on Hana

Hi Hana Experts,

in an ERP on HANA system, is it possible to use the HANA Modelling capabilities (analytic views, calculation views etc.) directly on the ERP data (VBAK, MARA etc.)?

I understand that there is SAP Hana Live which seems to deliver Hana calculation views that that can used/extended using the Hana modelling capabilities, just wondering if its also possible to directly access ERP data.

Hi Matthias,

I don't see a reason why you cannot model on the data in a HANA DB powering an SAP ECC/ERP system. 

Please try and let me know if something unexpected happens.  Please try this in development.
