Data from HCM to IDM

HI,

We have upgraded the new IDM 7.2 system. We have done the HCM-IDM integration as well.

But when the push the data from HCM system i dont get a any thing in the job log in the HCM staging area of the IDM but the data base is being updated.

Is there any thing i am missing??

HI Ivan,

I am trying to export data from HCM system to IDM. I am suing the report "RPLDAP_EXTRACT_IDM".

I have also imported HCM staging area in IDM system. I was successful in exporting the data from HCM system.

But i donot see any job log in IHCM staging area of IDM.

Hi Praman,

But can you see user data transferred in the Staging area or not?

If the data is there than you just forgot to set event tasks on MX_HCM_EMPLOYEE.

But if the data is not there then the there is an issue with transfer it self.

The event task is set on MX_HCM_EMPLOYEE.  I cannot see the data being transferred in the staging area.

Hi Paraman,

Than please go to VDS and put highest level on Operation log.

Execute report from HCM again and take a look at VDS operation log.

Check if you really received any data to VDS or not and then we can discuss your findings here

Hi Praman,

Do you see the data to be transferred in the operation log - or you just see connecting information?

Are there some attribute names from staging area?

I now got the entry in the staging area, but it gives me the below error.

Script sap_getSysUname failed. Script input: [19000101-99991231]00617534!!!!FALSE; Message details: Invalid SyUname: does not exist or is not valid today

Hi Praman,

Check the job that you execute when a data was transferred from HCM in staging area.

setting the MSKEYVALUE should look like that:

MSKEYVALUE $FUNCTION.sap_getSysUname(%P0000-PERNR%!!%P0105-SYHR_A_P0105_AF_SYSUNAME%)$$

If it is not than poste here yours and I'll try to help you.

I had the mskeyvalue as  $FUNCTION.sap_getSysUname(%P0000-PERNR%!!%P0105-SYHR_A_P0105_AF_SYSUNAME%!!%$WRITE_FUTURE_DATED_HIRES%)$$

I changed it to the one as suggested by you.

I still face the same error.

Hi Praman,

The issue in your case is that the sap_getSysUname script cannot calculate what should be the MSKEYVALUE for the user. That is why no data were stored in staging area. Did you changed the script some how or this is the original script from IDM 7.2?
