Hi,

I am kinda new in the putaway related SUT, and am always confused on the following when come to create TO with SUT feature.

By the way, I am using Pallet Strategy for putting away (hence, SUT is required in this process).

During TO creation, there are following three buttons appear on top (see following figure):

Question1:

==> What is the purpose of the "Palletization" button? Please give me example.

Question2:
==> What is the purpose of the "Create SU (Single)" button? and it seems it is quick similar to "Generate TO item" button? Please give me example.

Question3:
==> What is the purpose of the "Add to SU" button?

Appreciated.

Dan

Hi,

1. Palletization means you can break up the total quantity into multiple SU's.

E.g. 1000 EA quantity could be structured as

      a. 200 EA for SU type IP

       b. 300 EA for SU type E1

      c. 500 EA for SU type E2

Note - Default palletization can be maintained in the WM2 view of the material master

2. Create SU (single) means if you have multiple materials in the transfer order, then, all of them can be accommodated in a single storage units. Thus, your single SU would be having multiple quants corresponding to the materials in the TO.

3. Add to SU means you wish to add the material from the TO into an already existing SU in the warehouse.

Hope that clears your doubt.

Regards,

Sushant
