Inspection lots without Task list

Hi,

Can we create a inspection lot for plant maintenance without assigning any task list to it?

Do we have any other area where we can assign MIC's to operations apart from task list in an inspection lot?

Hi,

For standard Inspection types , it is not possible.

But if you create new inspection type for which you can have option like 'Inspection lot without Quality stock '.

Means with that Insp type , system will create lot, but stock will go to unrestricted directly.For that insp lot , you can do UD stuff.

Insp. plan is not required for this scenario.

Nope. Sorry.   That's the only option.

All the details regarding Inspection Lot viz., Inspection Point, Usage & MIC can be assigned only in Task List for Calibration process.

Without that, Inspection lot can't be generated.

Check the document for basic Master data requirement for Calibration Process.
