Difference between Simple mail & External send

Hi ,

Could any one help me to understand the difference between the transmission medium (7: simple mail and 5: External send) functionality in output procedure .

Which scenario we can use 7 and which scenario we will use 5.

Hi Pitabash,

When you are trying to send the mail to SAP internal user, you can use the functionality of Simple Mail. but if you want to send the mail to the Other than SAP User (Say Customer/Vendor), then you can make use of functionality of External Mail send.
