Hi anton
Do you have all the Processor roles assigned to you for incident management so that you can change the status
remember if you have created authorization codes and want to use then these needs to be assigned and adjusted to processor roles as well
this is the security guide
https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000147822013E.PDF
it has all the roles sap delivers for any functionality

Hi Anton,
First you need to describe more detail how this error happens. Error can happen when some follow-up document trying to set status of Incident f.e. Request for Change.
So you better check this customizing and behavior of your scenario.
Here is screenshot for this spro customization:

Hi,
Lets check in other way,
Go to , Status profile of ZMIN,
The IMG path SPRO->SAP Solution Manager->Capabilities (Optional)-> IT Service management ->s tatus proflile -> define status profile -> choose the status profile for ZMIn
check the lower value of status Proposed solution is equal to the status number of inprocess.
if not adjust it,
And also make sure you have auth to work on ITSM. adjust your roles from security guide
Thanks

hi,
why did you created auth key code only for particular status, seems issue with tat Auth code key.
Please revert or create auth key for all status or use standard and check, issue persists.
you can get the auth code screens here http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SMAUTH/UC00043
Security guides available under http://service.sap.com/security -> sap componets -> sap soltion manager
Please check
Thanks
