Managed system setup - SPML Issue

Hi

We have upgraded Solution Manager from 7.01 to 7.1

Step 11: Check Configuration for Managed system configuration is failing with the error SPML Issue

I have already implemented the roles specified in SAP note 1647157 on managed system and assigned it to the user (did it for SAPSUPPORT and

SM_COLL_SOL).

I am able to access the URL http://<managed-host>:<managed-port>/spml/provisioning using both the users, but the managed system setup is failing.

The error log refers to SAP note 1647267, but the note doesn't seem to be applicable to Solution Manager (SM) 7.1 SPS8. Any suggestions?

Hi,

You need to assign the roles mentioned in the Note 1647157 - How to Set up Access
to the SPML Service on AS Java to Administartor user(J2EE_ADMIN or SOLMAN_ADMIN) of managed system that you maintain in "System parameters step." These roles are not relevant to SAPSPPORT or SM_COLL_SOL users.

SOLMAN_ADMIN was maintained in that step. I have added the role to SOLMAN_ADMIN user on managed system to resolve the issue.
