SPAM\SAINT Support Package installation problem

Good afternoon colleagues.

During the installation of the support package for spam \ SANT, an error occurs:

  - Error in phase: IMPORT_PROPER

  - Reason for error: TP_STEP_FAILURE

  - Return code: 0008

  - Error message: OCS Package ALL, tp step "6", return code 0008

In the import log:

language 'R' is installed, but no entries for this language were exported ('DE')

How did you resolve the error?

I got the similar error during SPAM/SAINT update.

This system (sanbox) copied from development system using backup/restore method.

As per note 2098062 - Error SQL0204N during SPAM/SAINT update in IMPORT_PROPER phase I have executed below db2 command.

db2 "delete from <schema>.DDSTORAGE where tabname in (select distinct(tabname) from <schema>.DDSTORAGE where text like '<SID of the source system >#%' )"

replace schema with database schema & SID with source system SID in the above command.

Replaced Source SID with Target SID in the table "TATAF "().

If the activation fails then check the activation log.

Repeat the step.

Are there any logs related to the patching ?

Hi,

The SPAM\SAINT update failed due to the inactive nametabs existing in the system. For more information please check the nametab logs ( N*.log )  in the log folder of the trans directory.

From the log u can find the reason for termination of the import. Please post the error information in the nametab log in the trans directory.
