Getting nullpointer error while creating arfc2 model - importing rfc

Generation of model is terminated with exception - nullpointer - failed to create model

Hello Vishal,

Are you creating ARFC model with a predefined BAPI or a user created BAPI or RFC. There are some predefined BAPIs whose names starts with '/', when you try to create ARFC with such BAPIs you may get error with null pointer exception as the ARFC model is going to generate some proxy classes and while trying to create model classes with '/' it is going to raise an exception. If you have proper name with the BAPI try to delete the existing model and recreate a new model.

Its a Z FM to we dont have '/' in the name.

Hello Vishal,

Have you tried to re create the model? Check in the function module is remote enabled and if at all any views made used are present in the data dictionary.
