Hello

I'm trying to upgrade BI_CONT from 7.03 to 7.07SP4 (no other components are being upgraded).

I'm having an error, for which i can't find solution:

Import phase 'XPRA_EXECUTION' (17.05.2013, 23:10:55)

Error during executing the tp command 'tp XPA ALL PRD ...'

tp return code: '0008' , tp message: 'A tool used by tp produced errors' , tp output:

This is tp version 380.03.58 (release 720, unicode enabled)

standard output from tp and from tools called by tp:

Details of the error situation can also be found in the import logs

Abort the import due to an error situation (17.05.2013, 23:54:40)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Start of the after-import method RS_DPLC_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) DPLC (Modo de entrega)

Errors occurred during post-handling RS_AFTER_IMPORT_D for SHIP L

RS_AFTER_IMPORT_D belongs to package RS

The errors affect the following components:

BW-WHM (Warehouse Management)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have previously applied note 1271454 to clean old Logical System remains. This worked on our development system, but now it isnt working in PRD.

Thanks Andrea, i didn't remember to check SM21 (i had looked at ST22, and had no dumps). But i looked it now, and there is nothing i think relevant.

At the time of the upgrade, there are only several messages:

Reset buffer OTR ; mode and status: InvalBeg

Reset buffer OTR ; mode and status: InvalEnd

Also i think that the error messages in SAINT do seem a bit empty. It looks that it's missing info.

Also should i restart the upgrade even without changes? I havent tried that.

Thanks

Well, i tried to restart, but the same happened.

However there was a piece of log that i didn't noticed:

Source Sistem FILE does not exist

This happened already on DEV, but with another Source System. This Source System "FILE" exists in DEV too, but there was no problem with it, as said, the problem was with other SS. I think its a bit strange a source system with this name, but entries on table RSOLTPSOURCE were there. I deleted these with function module RSAR_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_DELETE and restarted the BI_CONT upgrade, and this ended with success.

Do you have any ideia if i shouldn't erased these entries, or what FILE source system is?

Thanks for help

Hi

in my point of view you had to delete that but I suppose you should recreate it too (if you use for any exports)

Hi Pedro,

Please apply the following note in the system.

1564964    Source system XYZ does not exist

Please make sure that Note 1336119 has been implemented in your system

before you execute the function module RSAR_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_DELETE

mentioned in note 1564964.

After that, please re-execute XPRA_EXECUTION.

Thank You.

Regards,

Deepika
