Mapping client business into sap sd

Hi

we are into telecom industry(INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER)

It is having one sales organization and from 12 branch offices they process sales activities

each sales office is having one storage location where we keep all the stock which we get from different vendors(cable, FIBER, server, mini server, routers)

When we get an order from customer, sales person visit the customer place & based on the feasibility sales person will decide whether to supply cable or fiber But we are not selling cable, fiber.  Customer requires only internet connection based on the plan he choose

How can we map this into SAP SD

Hi Kasi,

I can quickly think of material determination would be a good option. In OVRQ: mention strategy is "A" for this it will display dialog box for selection substitute (In your case either cable or fiber) material in sales order.

When will you create sales order in SAP ( creation of sales order After decided by Sales Person or when you get by customer )  ?

Note : you are saying ,you are not selling cable or fiber but you are giving service to customers .In this case ,think about Service Order and Billing Process .
