Hi ramesh,

with Visual Composer you can create analytic applications or if you use RFC/BAPIs you can create other applications. If you want to use Visual Composer you have to install NetWeaver 2004s SP8 or higher then VC comes with the SAP Enterprise Portal. Then you also need to install MSXML Parser 4, SVGViewer 3 and the latest flash player and of course IE6.

You can call RFC/BAPI of your R/3 system that's correct. If you want to use a transaction in the portal you do not need Visual Composer. If you only want to use a certain function of a transaction then you can do this with Visual Composer.

If you need more informations about VC have a look into the <a href="https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/VC/Main">WIKI</a> or the <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/visualcomposer?rid=/library/uuid/16244247-0a01-0010-3294-d81c21e7e86e">vc Papers</a>.

1) If you have a new question, then please create a new thread and do not "hijack" another users thread

2) I'd suggest that you do your due diligence and start with looking at the demos, blogs and articles from the Visual Composer page:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/visualcomposer

There are tons of examples from the xApps Analytics area, where you can see how VC is used with BI
