Dear Guru,
I am doing setup Solution Manager 7.1 SPS8. I am in step 5 - Configure Automatically of Basic Configuration. The background job CCMS_BI_SETUP was setup when I executed all configure job in this step. That's run more than 2 days ago. Until now, the job is still running, I wonder there are any problem with that job? Because it take too much time to run.
If there are nothing wrong, so how much time usually it take to run? Can I stop it? Are there any affect to the system?
I really need the answer right quick, hope gurus can help me.
Regards,
Loc Nguyen
Close the issue, resolved by me.
I stopped the background job, and re-run step Setup BW, the background job had been scheduled again and it finished perfectly.
Thanks all.

Hi Loc
If you are on Oracle DB, try updating the CBO statistics.

Hi Loc,
Are there any errors in the SM21 system logs, ST22 short dumps or or in the dev_w* trace file of the work process running the job?
Also I see there is a note for 7.01 SPS8 please review this.
1830835 - Dump SolMan 7.1, SP Stack 8, SAPSQL_INVALID_TABLENAME
Kind Regards,
Johan
