Hi there,
We have recently migrated from a physical landscape over to a virtual
one.
We have left saprouter running for the time being on one of the old physical
servers.
I now need to install saprouter on the new virual app server.
Can I leave the existing saprouter running on the old server whilst
I try and implement it on the new one. So in effect have two saprouters
running at the same time but on different servers???
Many thanks
Andy
Yes, you can have two (or more) saprouters running at the same time. You specify in the service marketplace which saprouter is used for incoming connections for each of your other systems, so you can can switch between them at will. We have done this several times, and are currently in the same position as you with a new one just waiting to be tested before we switch over properly.
Steve.
