bad performance on prod system

I have performance problems, I found this information by SAPPFFAR

There can be many reasons for performance issue.

You need to first figure out at which level the issue is.

For that check at every level - SAP application (System logs, Work processes, Dumps, Buffers), Database (alert Log), OS (swap, FS, RAM, CPU)

Network bottleneck.

After figuring out which of these 4 area has issues you can investigate further.

Please check the sm50 and sm66 for anything running for long time.

You can check sm37 for any long runner jobs.

Hi  Hsaini,

Reading your sappfpar these are only warnings not errors.

Errors detected..................:    0

Warnings detected................:    7

As andrea said we need more information, i.e. which OS are you using linux/windows? if linux or unix run command top command to monitor memory  cpu and I/O usage.

And to see memory available run command

free -m

As for more information not sure what database you are using when was the last time a database statistics run was done on your system?

Looking at your hit rations from ST02 they are all above 90% which is good please provide us with more information. What performance are the users complaining of if any? Also checked your earlwatch alert report for any indicators perhaps?
