Could Please give a Example for Effective Date Transform?

• Generates an additional “effective to” column based on the primary key’s “effective date”
• The Data Input should have an effective date column
• Effective dates allow you to indicate changes to information over time.
• Can be used to implement SCD Type 3

Example:

INPUT:

Transfrom settings:

Output:

See for the employee abc for two different projects over time the Eff_From and Eff_to dates are recorded.

Hi,

      Here the Effective Start Dates are interanally sorted by the component.
