Hi
Currently we have subcontracting scenario in our system with SNP heuristics.
We plan at vendor in our system but do not plan vendor capacity.
Business want to explore the possibility to model and planning with vendor capacity in our system.
Is it possible in SNP (either with Heuristics or CTM or any other option)?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
regards
Yogesh
Hi Yogesh,
It is possible to plan vendor capacity in your system. I implemented similar functionality at one client. Please check if this blog of mine can help you (Based on my project experience)

Hi Yogesh,
SNP heuristics will work for this. Just set the resource you use for your subcontracting PDS to "finite scheduling". SNP plans infinitely. You will see the overloads in the SNP capacity view where you can then run capacity leveling.
