IdM/BW Integration [Process chain 0IDM_DELTA_P001] Question

Hi Experts,

We have our IdM system integrating with BW for reporting purposes. We followed the implementation guide:

Identity Reporting Using SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse.pdf.

With this implementation, we are experiencing long processing of the out-of-the-box process chain 0IDM_DELTA_P001. We run it weekly and it typically takes about 24 hours but we are seeing this increase to almost 40 hours. We have about 77,000 users in the organization.

1. What is the typical processing time of this process chain for an organization of this size?

2. How often should we run this process chain?

3. Has anyone customized this process chain?

Any experience you can share with this would be extremely helpful.

Hi Marla,

You can check if your delta is activated, this may be the problem, because every time you are proccessing all of the data.

When I look at the DTPs for the out of the box process chain, it looks like the extraction mode is set to full. Do you know why this would be the case of a delta process chain? I am imagining we will need to change this.
