Hi Experts
Our client has decided to upgrade Net weaver and CRM systems respectively:
Current Version Upgrade Planned
NW 7.00 SP 26 NW 7.0 EHP 3 SP2
CRM 5.0 SP 19 CRM 7.0 EHP 2
We have PI version 7.0 SP 26 currently running on NW 7.00 SP 26.
Is there any need to upgrade PI in this case or the current version is sufficient and why? any information would be helpful.
Regards
Neha

Hi
Can anyone provide me the link where I can see the all SAP NW PI releases for 7.0 with all the EHP levels as I tried finding it on help.sap.com but only 7.1 and 7.31 is available there.
In my system PI calls abap proxy on CRM so if CRM 7.0 EHP 2 is applied with PI 7.0 will it be compatible.
Also if Net weaver is upgraded to 7.03 from 7.00 and PI remains 7.00 is it feasible that in future this wont create any connection issue.

Neha

Hi Neha,
Connecting SAP PI to R/3 systesms via proxy it is required that R/3 system should be greater than or equal to WAS 6.20.
this is important when you are dealing with proxies.
I suggest you to raise oss message to SAP who can give you clear idea on this.
follow below link to create oss message

I saw on http://service.sap.com/pam but it only gives the below input.
Is this the only thing that should be the part of this upgrade or I need to search for more somewhere.

Hi Neha,
as mentioned by Prasanth you have to check PAM first if PI version and CRM version are compatible or not.
if you want clear information ask your basis to raise message to SAP. this is also another option.
