New UD Code Creation Process

Hi,

We want create new UD Code"Partial Acceptance"in in Catalog type 3. How to Create it and what was other requirement to create the UD Code.

How to link it with inspection all type?

Hi,

For more UD code creation do following process:

1. Go to tcode QS41 -> Enter catalog 3 -> Select codegroup & click on codes (Right hand side)

Click on new entries -> Enter new code & write Partial Acceptance in Short text of code.

Save then system ask for request.

2. Enter tcode QS51-> Catalogue 3 & plant -> Select the Selected set as 01, 03, 04, 10 as per your reqmt. & click on selected set code (RHS) -> New entries & Assign codegroup that you created here..

Save.

After this you can see the newly created UD code at UD.

Hi Rahul,

This UD code "Partial Acceptance" we are created only for Source inspection only.

We are not considering for Stock posting, Please guide for following entries taken by me is right ya wrong for ud code creation

In QS41

UD Code:- P0

Short text:- partial Accetance

I dont understand what can fill in Posting Propsal Ud, Stock screen background,Follow up action.

Hi,

May be following poits will help you otherwise let us know.

1.posting proposal UD and stock screen background related  and used togeather.It is used when you want to post inspection stock to storage location after doing UD.

2.Follow-up action is used for what kind of communication you want in inspection scnario.

3.QS41 Settings you did is looking ok.

4.Dont forget to select "Source Insp-No GR" in Q-Info record.By activating this system does not create any insp lot at GR for PO-items.

Hi,

   As dee joy said maintain settings,If u want to use that specific selected set (UD code "Partial Acceptance" ) for particular "Source Insp  GR's" only ,please follow the below path:

SPRO-->QM-->Quality inspection-->inspection lot creation-->maintain inspection type--> double click on required inspection type(0101/0130)--> UD selected set.

Go to Tcode: QS41 in which u need to create the Code group and code (client level) for catalogue "3" in your case

again go to Tcode : QS51 which u need to create selected set for the same code group but as plant level.Select set code needs to be created based on the requirement ( additionally u can define the stock posting after UD / Quality score and valuation code etc.,

Hi

1. First create code Partial Acceptance in respective code group under which you want to see that new code in t-code QS41 with catalog type 3.

2. Add that code  in selected set under which you want to see that code for that particular plant. in t-code qs51.
