MM: Changing the occurency -> Complete rebuilding??

Dear all,

I had several times the problem that I need to change the occurency from 1  to 0..unbounded in the signature of

a message mapping. Normally the mappings were small and I just remap the fields, because the XPath changed caused

by the envelope "\Messages\Message1".

Now I have a huge mapping and would not like to remap the fields. In earlier versions I was able to export the

mapping as text, do a search&replace and reimport it. This excellent feature wasunfortunatelly killed in an earlier update.

Is there any other way to simple adjust a mapping after changing the occurency??

regards

Chris

Hello Christian,

If you are using PI 7.1 and above, if there are structure changes you can use the feature called correct structural inconsistencies. http://scn.sap.com/people/jin.shin/blog/2008/02/15/sap-pi-71-mapping-enhancements-series-correct-str...

If you are using PI 7.0 and below, I guess you have to redo the mapping.

Hope this helps,

Mark
