Insufficient Shared Objects Memory Available

Hi,

I am a freshman in CRM area.

as I tried to save an Opportunity in our demo system I got the following error message

"500 SAP Internal Server error

Error:Insufficient Shared Objects Memory Available ( Termination RABAX_STATE)

How should I increase the Shared Obj. Memo ,and where I can configure that?

You can refer the Note 1281896 - High Memory Consumption and CRM Webclient to increase the shared memory.

however I dont have access to sap notes yet.

it is said,i need to change the abap/shared_objects_size_MB, via TA RZ11, but i only have the right to Display, not to change the parameter,

do u know which role is needed to change that?

Hi,

I found the way how to change paramaters via RZ10

i take the active instance profile and attached the parameter abap/shared_objects_size_MB, then i set the value from 20 to 200, ( i saw some one suggests that it should be set to 350, however i got error message when i set it to 350).

then I "copy" the value and activated the profile.

the current value is 200

however after i restarted the system i got the error message:

ERROR: Error during VM container communication between ABAP and JAVA (termination: RABAX_STATE)

in SM53 , the VMC is not active,

however i can use Web to create an opportunity, the error pops only when i try to save it.

do u know what i should do?

You can activate the VMC and then check. If you are not from the BASIS team, you can contact them.
