Hi Viswanathan,

As already highlighted by Himavanth, In standard SAP we don't do availability check configuration for QT related transactions. The QT is not a confirmed sales and its considered as pre sales activity.

If your company/client wants to include QT also into availability check and MRP then you have to configure accordingly. BTW, its always good if you can search in google or SAP help to understand these type questions/issues.

Its also good if you can tell us the business reason for having Avb check at QT level.

You can check below thread where Jignesh has provided configuration details.

Hi Viswanathan,

Availability check and materials requirement planning will held at sales order level not at quotation level.

Materials requirement will be passed to MRP in sales order after availability check for the products  and saving the sales order..

Sales order is a confirmation from the customer that he is going to purchase these products. Hence the requirements for that products will be passed to MRP which will appear in MD04.

Quotation is not an confirmation that the customer will buy the products so, there is no need to pass the requirements to MRP which will not appear in MD04.

search in forum before posting the thread.

S.Himavanth.
