Hi all
Oracle 9.2
Yesterday in oracle mount point i have not enough space. In this time perfomed saving archivelogs.
Because of the lack of space, backup was not performed
When space is available, i found undo data file (undo.data2) in /oracle/SID/sapreorg/ .
Usually undo.data2 placing in /oracle/SID/sapdata...
Why oracle created this file in /oracle/SID/sapreorg/ ?
Can i delete this undo datafile from /oracle/SID/sapreorg/ ?
Hi
first make sure the database is not using this file before deleting it.
run the query from sqlplus
select TABLESPACE_NAME,FILE_NAME from dba_data_files where file_name like '%undo%';
if the database is using it, then you can simply recreate it

in db02 tablespace PSAPUNDO pacing datafiles only on
/oracle/SID/sapdata1/undo_1/undo.data1
/oracle/SID/sapdata1/undo_2/undo.data2
/oracle/SID/sapdata1/undo_3/undo.data3
I understand...
I use verifying backups . When backup verifying datafiles restore in sapreorg dir.
Yesterday when verifying perfomed i have no space left on oracle mount point
BR0359E Restore of /oracle/ZER/sapreorg/undo.data2 from /dev/rmt/0mn failed due to previous errors
