Solution Database without Trex

Hi,

We are having solution manager 7.0 ehp1

we have connfigured Server desk in it and want to use Solution Database ,

i came to know that in order to use Solution databse we need to have TREX Installed .

please advise,

is it must to have TREX or we can proceed without TREX...?

Hi,

You can use existing solution database via the SAP GUI, and search it for existing solutions. To do this via Solution Database tab and choose Search SDB. I do not think TREX is mandatory.
