hi all

we have only two runtime systems (DEV and PROD). but in track configuration you can configure four systems: DEV, CON, TEST and PROD.

So could you guys give some advice? What's the best practice for my scenario?

Hui

Hi Hui

So you can skip the ones you dont want. But if I remember right you may still have to go through consolidation even if it is not hooked to a runtime system. TEST can be avoided

Hi Pran,

Do you mean that I only need configure DEV and PROD in the track?

Could I configure like the following 2 scenarios and what's the difference?

1. take real DEV as DEV and CON runtime systems in the track

DEV(DEV) CON(DEV) TEST(leave empty) PROD(PROD)

2. take real PROD as CON and PROD runtime systems in the track

DEV(DEV) CON(PROD) TEST(leave empty) PROD(PROD)

Thanks! I have awarded some points to you.

Hi Hui

Its more like DEV(DEV) and PROD(PROD) . The CONS tab will exist where the source is imported to consolidation workspace but not deployed anywhere

Hi Hui,

Even if you don't mention Consolidation system the tab for consolidation will appear.

It is as if it logically uses DEV as CONS.

So you need to configure only DEV and PROD.

Thank You,
