Timeout during parameter change

Hello,

we try to change the HANA Parameters in the HANA studio, but after 30  secondes we get the following error:

general error: reconfigure failed for node hana-qpa-101-s:30003 with : ReadTimeoutException at BufferedIO.cpp(01095):

  message: a timeout occured while reading from the channel

  info: timeout occured

  param: 127.0.0.1:30003

Any ideas?

Solved:

In the table  m_host_information / net_ip_adresses was second IP for some reason which has no entry in the /etc/hosts ....

Hi Jan,

Have you updated you HANA ?

Please check SAP Note No. 1825895

If you upgrade from lower SAP HANA SPS you have to update ALL

other components (Studio, Modeler, DB Clients, DBSL, SLT, DS,

...) to at least the minimal version of SAP HANA SPS 05.

What is the revision of your HANA appliance?

What is the parameter you are trying to change of which configuration file in HANA studio?
