Shipment Creation optimizer -Resource specific

We have run in to an issue with TPVS shipment creation optimizer - The optimizer is not selecting the resources from the optimizer profile during the shipments creation, It appears optimizer doesn't respect the resources assignment from the profiles instead considering all the resources and creating the shipments.  as an example: We have defined resources 10 to 19 in one profile-1 and  resources 20 to 29 in another profile-2. however when the optimizer runs on profile 1 the shipments are having the resources from profile 2.

Can you please share some ideas on how to control the shipment creation optimizer to pick the resources assigned from optimizer profiles?

Hi,

     As per the example stated by you it clearly says that whenever you try to run optimizer  resources of profile 2 are assigned to shipments instead of resources of profile 1. The following could be the reasons:

1. In both the profiles same set of orders must be there and  orders in profile 2 must be compatible only with the resources listed in profile 2. So its better you first check orders in both the profiles are same or they are different.

2. If different then you check compatibilities if maintained between MOT and transportation group.

3. If you have not at all maintained any compatibilities then please maintain it between MOT and transportation group and also use these MOT's in the resources used in profile 1.

If still you feel this will not help you then please elaborate your example with an example so that I can think of giving a better solution.
