HR compoents level after EHP6 Installation

Hello Team,

I am going to do fresh installation of HRIS(HR) system which should be at EHP6 level.

I read that with fresh installation of EHP6, only central application components will be at EHP6 and other components need to be upgraded separately.

My concern is regarding the HR components since this is going to be HR system.

Is there any method I can have HR components also at EHP6 level along with fresh installation of SAP?

Right now do not have a solution manager to connect that system.So cannot upgrade HR componets immediately after SAP installation using SUM. Or is there a way to upgrade HR components without having solution manager to download patches?

If I can use SAINT to do it, will SAINT work if i download HR compoents from SMP and put in EPS/in(without an XML file from MOPZ)?

Can anyone please suggest?

Hello Samaya,

If Sap system is not added to Solution manager system , No matter you can very well use SAINT tool for add on installation and SPAM for support pack upgrade. But you have to upgrade each componenet one by one , ie time consuming. If you have only one or two component to be upgraded or added you can very well go with this:

@ :you should check all the prerequisites before you go with SAINT or SPAM tool.
